International Women’s Day has evolved into a vibrant global stage, shining a light on the incredible leadership and vision that women bring to every corner of the world. It’s no longer just about a seat at the table; it’s about who is designing the room, the building and the future.

In today’s times, women aren’t just participating in businesses, they are building them from scratch, digitally scaling them and outperforming traditional growth models. From founders to marketing innovators, these women-led brands are redefining growth, customer engagement and market positioning. At BannerBuzz, we see this transformation firsthand. Through our programme “Women Who Build Brands”, we’d like to give each one of them a shout-out in our blog.
Story 1: Philly Influencer Mixer
Founder: Davida Lovelace
Location: Philadelphia, USA

When Davida Lovelace founded Philly Influencer Mixer, she set out to address a clear gap in the creator economy. As a creator herself, she observed that many talented local influencers; particularly micro-creators with highly engaged audiences, were often overlooked for meaningful brand partnerships; partnerships that potentially give them a chance to grow.
Philly Influencer Mixer then came up with a creator community that helped connect influencers with brands and PR agencies through curated events and strategic partnerships. The platform focuses on supporting micro-creators while fostering long-term, mutually beneficial relationships between brands and authentic voices.
Davida’s vision was rooted in empowerment. She wanted to create a space where creators could connect, learn and access real partnerships that treated them as professionals. By bridging the gap between creators and brands, she has helped reshape how influence is defined; shifting the focus from follower counts to engagement, trust and community value.
Story 2: Ballons Uniques
Founder: Daniella Rosero
Location: Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada

In Sherbrooke and across the Estrie and Montérégie regions, Daniella Rosero recognized a growing need for modern event design that went beyond traditional décor. Driven by her passion for creativity and entrepreneurship, she founded Ballons Uniques, that specializes in high-end balloon installations that make every event better.
Her mission was to create designs that were more nostalgic. Whether serving families celebrating milestones or businesses hosting corporate events, Daniella’s work blends aesthetic precision with strategic presentation.
What began as a creative pursuit has evolved into a brand known for sophistication and detail. By identifying a regional opportunity and aligning it with a strong visual identity, Daniella demonstrates how creativity, when correctly paired with business insight, can build something lasting.
Story 3: X Factor Abilities
Founder: Tracey Morris
Location: Springwood, Queensland, Australia

For Tracey Morris, entrepreneurship is deeply personal. Living with a degenerative physical disability, she discovered her own “X factor” through creative art; a strength that allowed her to channel resilience into purpose.
She founded X Factor Abilities to support the National Disability Insurance Scheme or NDIS participants through creative workshops, employment support and psychosocial recovery coaching. Participants build confidence, independence and practical life skills while working toward their individual NDIS goals. Through creativity and structured capacity-building programs, each person is empowered to discover their strengths and shape their own future.
Tracey’s journey reflects how lived experience can evolve into impactful leadership. By transforming personal insight into a structured support system, she has built a brand that strengthens communities and creates opportunities at the same time.
Final Thoughts
The stories above are more than conventional success narratives; instead, they are blueprints for resilience, innovation and growth. Each journey highlights how strategy, creativity and persistence together converge to create a brand with such strong roots. The best part is that these people we have just mentioned are associated with BannerBuzz, which makes it even more special. We are more than proud to support women entrepreneurs that turn their idea into a living reality. Their success is a reminder that ideas, when backed by the right marketing mediums, have the power to transform industries and inspire the next generation.
